OSHA OUTREACH 10- and 30-Hour TRAINING ONLINE

The Sheet Metal Occupational Health Institute Trust Inc. (SMOHIT) has made arrangements with one of the already-authorized OSHA online trainers to offer a members-only reduced rate. OSHA Outreach courses are provided in partnership with 360training.com, an OSHA-authorized online Outreach Provider.

Along with OSHA training, a number of safety specific online training courses are offered at reduced rates.
The cost for the OSHA 10-hour is $45 and OSHA 30-hour is $115.00. Available in English and Spanish.

Surface Miner Training

MSHA Annual Refresher Training

Once all courses are completed and certificates downloaded, download and complete the MSHA 5000-23 Certificate of Training Form on the MSHA website. You will need to add your mine or independent contractor name, their identification number, and the name of the competent person who can verify the training you received.

Generally, the person signing the form is the Mine Operator or a person acting on behalf of the operator. For example, a company safety official, a trainer employed or contracted by the operator, or a cooperative instructor (such as a state grantee).

360training or SMOHIT does NOT sign the 5000-23 form.
